French Flower takes its inspiration from a tale from Provence, where Aurélien was born, that young people who were not married yet were forbidden to walk the tuberose fields at night, because the smell is so sensual and intoxicating. Aurélien wanted to recreate that smell.

Aurélien combined two different extractions of tuberose: an absolute and an enfleurage - extracted from tuberoses organically grown by Matiere Premiere.

The absolute expresses the richness, the power and opulence of tuberose. Enfleurage is a traditional and organic technique of extraction that captures the scent of the flowers in a vegetal wax. It highlights the warm, sensual aspect of tuberose, close to the smell of skin. Ginger Oil Nigeria amplifies the whiteness of the flower. Green Tea Leaf Oil China and a Green Pear accord underline the vegetal character of this stemmed flower.

Ganymede Extrait name is inspired by Jupiter’s immense satellite, which is also known to be full of craters and to have an underground ocean vaster than all of earth’s oceans put together. The perfume’s creators, Marc-Antoine Barrois and Quentin Bisch, have imagined it here in a world with an atmosphere brimming with aromatics that it becomes combustible: its sky is gleaming with the sour spike of mandarin and the holy fumaroles of incense and myrrh. It’s a planet covered with warm velvet dunes where the spicy and caramelised everlasting flower is preponderant. The fiery heart of this fragrance reminds us that the gods gave Ganymede eternal life so that his beauty would never fade. Is it the smouldering skin hidden underneath the wild leather? As for our other perfumes, Ganymede Extrait was formulated by perfumer Quentin Bisch. Everything, including packaging, is 100% made in France to reduce our ecological footprint. There is no use of preservative or any UV filters in Ganymede Extrait.

We recycle as much as we can, especially in our shipments’ wedging. We do not use plastic wrapping for over 3 years.
We also work with association and companies that include disabled men and women or participate to reinsertion of long term unemployed persons willing to build with your help a better world

Heir to a long line of cognac makers who were pioneers in luxury, Kilian decided to take up the torch of family tradition. Creating a new luxury brand was definitely a challenge worthy of his predecessors.

His childhood haunts included the family cellars in Cognac. Before graduating from CELSA, he wrote a thesis on the semantics of scent, in search of a ‘language’ common to gods and mortals. Remembering the “angels’ share” as part of his heritage, he was led into the world of perfumery. The “angels’ share” is what the House of Hennessy calls the percentage that – inexplicably – evaporates from cognac cellars, like an offering to the gods.

Gristette is inspired by the familiar figures in the streets of 19th century Paris, 'Grisette's' were the youthful, fresh‑faced girls who worked in the capital’s sewing workshops. They were full of joie de vivre and wore grey calico frocks that gave them their nickname. On sunny days, when the workshop bell rang, they would rush off in pursuit of adventure in the bars of Montmartre and the guinguettes on the Marne, where they would dance to the strains of the accordion. These fun-loving creatures paired up with the bohemian students in the Latin Quarter, and provided the inspiration for the artists at Montmartre, becoming the heroines of paintings by Renoir and Monet.
Grisette is a classical composition with top notes of an armful of freshly cut roses. For the first time for decades, Lubin is using an alcoholate obtained by macerating rose concrete. This preserves the most volatile notes that mingle with hints of grapefruit to give a green sensation of fresh roses. Grisette then wraps one up in powdery, woody, and spicy notes before leaving a trail of amber and vanilla.

A voyager and discoverer at heart, Lubin was the first perfume maker to conquer the New World in 1830. His effervescent Eau Vivifiante (later called Eau de Lubin) was coveted the world over, from Paris to Moscow, from Jaipur to New York.

Gilles Thévenin, along with two of Paul Prot’s sons, decided to take over the brand’s destiny. Former Lubin perfumers of the 1950s and 60s joined in to help revive the House of Lubin’s unmatched olfactory style and provide the missing details to forgotten formulas. This allowed the company to renew and revive Nuit de Longchamp and Gin Fizz, among others. The House of Lubin has now regained the glory of former days. A beautiful dedication to iris and the alluring woody powdery aroma extracted from its rhizomes. Rhizomes are the flower’s creeping root-stalks which it sends under the ground to spread around.

It takes about 1000 kg of dry rhizomes (carefully dried and cured for 4 years) to produce just 2 kg of iris butter (also called orris).

It’s truly precious - MarieJeanne spent about a year going through 160 attempts before arriving at their perfect blend of several iris extracts: butter of iris Florentina and iris Pallida and absolute of iris Germanica. Absolutes are derived from butter to achieve a fresher character.

Their goal was to create a modern, refined iris perfume and to depart from dated powdery violet interpretations.

Very few perfume houses have access to the ingredients of the same caliber that Marie Jeanne have used so generously in their Iris Pallida. The perfume is 28% strong, very diffusive but at the same time tantalisingly delicate.

The crown jewel of the formula, the blend of orris extracts, is set on a pedestal of sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver. Iris Pallida is an elegant and sensual modern iris perfume, meticulously blended from the most refined raw materials available to perfumers at the moment.

The finest iris butter absolute is used to create a concise formula in which essences of sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver offers the foundation of a modernised iris with a fresh hazelnut inflection. Cashmeran, musks and ambroxan add density to the notes and brings sensuality and complexity for a contemporary scent.

Heir to a long line of cognac makers who were pioneers in luxury, Kilian decided to take up the torch of family tradition. Creating a new luxury brand was definitely a challenge worthy of his predecessors.

His childhood haunts included the family cellars in Cognac. Before graduating from CELSA, he wrote a thesis on the semantics of scent, in search of a ‘language’ common to gods and mortals. Remembering the “angels’ share” as part of his heritage, he was led into the world of perfumery. The “angels’ share” is what the House of Hennessy calls the percentage that – inexplicably – evaporates from cognac cellars, like an offering to the gods.

Many of Kilian’s fragrances today carry this childhood memory as they are reminiscent of the sugar in the alcohol and the wood of the cognac barrels

Meticulously reconstructed today by Dominique Ropion, this marvellous, vibrant, intoxicating, radiant scents transport us immediately to the colourful splendours of the temples and frescoes of ancient Egypt. Here merges the intense warmth of honeyed Broom flower, mystical and heady myrrh that flows from the tree in spicy yet sweet white tears; rustic Lentisk or balm of Gilead, fresh and green; and calamus (opoponax), with its astonishing scent of herbs, spices and wood, that grows in dense clumps on the peaceful banks of the Nile.

These perfumes are the result of a meeting between Ivan Pericoli and Benoît Astier de Villatte, the creators of Astier de Villatte, Dominique Ropion, perfumer, and Annick Le Guérer, perfume historian, anthropologist and researcher. All of them driven by the same passion: to restore the prestige of three mythical and magnificent fragrances — Le Dieu bleu (Egyptian kyphi), Artaban (the Roman “royal perfume”), Les Nuits (the perfume of George Sand) — by reconstituting as closely as possible the formulas of the time according to the regulations of today’s perfumery.

Star perfumer at IFF, Dominique Ropion pulled out all the stops in the reconstitution of these three formulas, a perilous exercise considering their richness and complexity. His close collaboration of more than twenty years with Annick Le Guérer was the starting point of the project. The historian provided him with precise documents for the first two perfumes, right down to recipes and the proportions of each ingredient, as well as dregs from the bottom of a travel phial of George Sand’s perfume, entrusted by one of her descendants, Christiane Sand. Ingredients which no longer complied with and are prohibited by current perfumery standards had to be adapted or replaced with substitutes. State-of-the-art technology and innovation made this artistic and technical challenge possible.

These three fragrances were produced at the Atelier du Parfumeur in Grasse using 100% natural raw materials, essences and concretes, as well as new aromas.

B683 is a result of the meeting of two young designers. One is a couturier, the other a perfumer. Their childhood memories brought them together. Remembering captivating smells; of the leather from an elegant attaché case or an immaculate desk blotter; distinct smells of wood during the regular gathering of fuel to warm the family home. The artistic skills of the former and the olfactory talent of the latter together sparked a magical and pleasant fragrance with its notes of spices, leather and wood.

B683 Extrait

B683 Extrait – with this reinterpretation, the two creators offer a dive into the most sensual character of B683, an immersion at the heart of this perfume and its signature: the warmth and the depth of a woody-leathery accord. Here, it gains another intensity to become an authentic “patchouli leather.” Around that, other notes of the composition sublimate the different facets of this matter with tactile sensuality. Pepper and cumin offer the vibration of their spicy accents, the oud wood enhances the density of then accord while the vanilla brightens it with a caressing roundness. On the skin, B683 Extrait marries the one who wears it as a double that underlines its presence.

The top note is spicy and liquorish with pepper berries essence, cumin seeds and green apple. The heart is really animalic and leathery. Made with safraleine, violet leaf and natural oud from Laos (ethically sourced). The base is warm and woody and concentrating the smell of patchouli from Indonesia, sandalwood from Australia and vanilla.

Ganymede once again makes use of the suede-leathery notes that made their first collaboration B683 an instant classic. This time though the leather notes become softer, gaining lightness and gentleness in contact with the fragrance of violet. Mandarin still brings intense brightness and vivacity, yet immortelle adds sublime balance, using salty and mineralic tones to act as a striking counterpoint. A galactic olfactory harmony both delicate and balanced, full of energy, sensuality and contrast, Ganymede is quite unlike any fragrance on the planet; or elsewhere.

Ganymede Extrait name is inspired by Jupiter’s immense satellite, which is also known to be full of craters and to have an underground ocean vaster than all of earth’s oceans put together. The perfume’s creators, Marc-Antoine Barrois and Quentin Bisch, have imagined it here in a world with an atmosphere brimming with aromatics that it becomes combustible: its sky is gleaming with the sour spike of mandarin and the holy fumaroles of incense and myrrh. It’s a planet covered with warm velvet dunes where the spicy and caramelised everlasting flower is preponderant. As Part of the intangible cultural heritage site by UNESCO since 2018, Grasse is the world capital of perfume. It is internationally known for its emblematic flowers: the tuberose, the jasmine grandiflorum and the centifolia rose.

Born in Grasse, Georges Maubert has been immersed in the world of perfume since his childhood, and is conscious of the treatment of each local flower, right up to the composition of scents. He is part of the fifth generation of the Robertet company, world leader in natural raw materials. Since 1850, his family has worked in the perfume industry as farmers, chemists, perfumers, and sourcing experts. This ancestral knowledge has been mastered and developed to offer you the most beautiful fragrances.

Since his youth, Georges has been aware of the numerous scents of the Grasse region, especially those of the rose fields and the orange blossom fougassettes of the Maison Venturini. He enjoyed wandering in the Robertet laboratories and playing the apprentice chemist whilst weighing ‘magical formulas’ with the laboratory technicians.

At the age of 14, he did his first internship at the Chanel creation laboratory supervised by the perfumers Jacques Polge and François Demachy. This enriching experience confirmed his interest in the world of perfume. Directly from Rome we bring you Profumum Roma, a family owned niche perfume brand that make their scent in oil base. The story begins with Celestino and Lucia Durante who after the Second World War decided to move from a small town called Sant’Elena Sannita to Rome. Coming from a family with a long artisan tradition, they used their skills to open a tiny storefront selling interesting fragrances, hand made soaps and other beauty products. From these humble beginnings the business grew into a chain of shops that quickly became a reference point for luxury personal care in the city.

The skill and craftsmanship were passed on through the generations of the Durante family and in 1996 Celestino and Lucia’s grandchildren expanded the business by creating a line of exclusive fragrances. The Profumum Roma scents are exquisitely crafted to evoke the emotions and memories of their beloved Italy. Inspiration has come from an eclectic mix of Italian motifs including stories of Rome, iconic vacation islands and even a delicious local pastry shop. The resultant scents though seductively layered, are wonderfully simple at heart.
