Creed 1760

In 1760, in London, James Henry Creed founded the House of Creed. It rapidly became a favourite with the Court of England and Queen Victoria appointed Creed as an official supplier.

Shortly after the House of Creed was chosen by all the Royal courts of Europe; from Napoleon III, to Empress Eugenie, Francois-Joseph and Elizabeth of Austria-Hungary, and Queen Christina of Spain, Creed's creations were recognised for their quality, refinement and originality.

In 1854, under the direction of Empress Eugenie, the House of Creed moved to Paris and soon acquired notoriety. With a very selective clientele, Creed went on creating unique perfumes, masterpieces of creativity. More than two hundred exclusive perfumes, all original and hand-made, were created by the Creed family over the years.

Today the house of Creed is headed by Olivier Creed and his son Erwin.
